What information is being collected?
During your initial wedding enquiry through my website I normally collect your name, email address, telephone number, wedding date and venue location. This is so I know who I am chatting with, I can respond to your email or send a text if that is how you would prefer to correspond. If you have inquired about a family session I firstly collect your name, children’s ages, and how many children you have or would like to be in your photos (in case you would like nieces and nephews included) email address and telephone number. After we have decided to proceed with booking a session or a wedding consultation I will collect your address as that is where the session or meeting will take place.
We do not collect any Sensitive Data about you. Sensitive data refers to data that includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and bio-metric data. We do not collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.
Why is it being collected?
Your name is collected so I know what to call you when I arrive to your session/wedding consultation. I will also need your children’s names for sessions again so I know what to call them and their ages so I know what to expect for their session.
Your email is collected to respond to your inquiry. It will also be collected if you wish to have an online gallery for your session, I send you the link to the gallery and the password via email and Facebook message (if we chat via Facebook). I will also send you receipts and invoices via email. I do not send newsletters and I do not send offers via email. Any offers are available on my Facebook page (although not very often i am afraid)
Your phone number is collected to text you a reminder about our session/meeting 1 day before. I will call you if I am (heaven forbid!) running late. Traffic can sometimes be an unexpected nightmare. Tractors are the worst! (sorry farmers!)
Your address is collected as this is where your session/meeting will usually take place. Unless you have opted for a location session, in this case I will still need your address for your photo viewing stage. I will also personally deliver your products to your home so I know they are safe in your hands.
Who is collecting it?
Just me and no one else. I do not share your personal information.
How is it being collected?
If you make an enquiry via my “contact me” form, you may wonder what happens to those details.
The form is forwarded to me via email, which I receive when I log in on my one.com webmail on my computer and is also automatically sent to my phone. I then input that information into my paper diary once the booking has been made, I will also input the information onto my phone to have as an electronic appointment calender and also a back up so I do not miss appointments.
If you enquire via telephone your details will be written down in pencil until the booking has been made. Once the booking has been made it will be erased and written in pen and also copied into my phone calender.
I will respond to your enquiry via email with the relevant information that you requested. Your details will go in my diary and I will follow up with you as needed.
Why is it being collected and how will it be used?
Your data is being collected simply so I can respond to your enquiry.
Who will it be shared with?
Your privacy is just as important to me as my own privacy is. I do not share your information with any third parties.
Where is your data stored?
Your data as previously mentioned is stored in my paper diary and my mobile phone.
I do use my computer to log in to my one.com web mail which only I have access to in my own home. Both my computer and web mail are password protected. Your emails do come through to my phone as well which is also password protected.
However my paper diary only has vital information stored such as …
~ session time and date, your name, children’s names and ages, address (if studio style in your own home) and any props you have asked me to bring.
~ wedding consultation date and time, your name, fiance name and address.
My diary will stay in my own home as I use my phone when I am out and if a booking has been made whilst I have been out I will update my diary when I am back home. I do share my home with my boyfriend but he respects my privacy and does not look at my diary unless I have specifically asked him to check a date for availability.
