My name is Emma Wenham. I am 26 years old and I live in a small village on the outskirts of Melton Mowbray in Leicester.
When I was a child, I started my photography journey by taking photographs of birds in my granddads garden. After a while, that enjoyment of the birds became a hobby and landscapes and pets became my hobby.
Then I finished school I decided to take my hobby to the next level and to make a career. I went on to study art and design and did a 2-year photography course at Leicester college. Where I came out with 2 Distinctions and a Merit.

When I finished college, I became a photographer for a large company called PixiFoto, which was situated in most Mothercare stores. This was the beginning of my children and family portrait photography journey.
After being there for 2 years and striving for more I, therefore, decided to leave and make it on my own. Using the knowledge they had given me, I was able to put that into my work. I brought my own equipment and start being my own boss.
Above all, the best choice I ever made was when I became self-employed in April 2015. I have loved meeting new people and making friends along the way. All the clients I have met have all been amazing. I love all the personalities that I meet.
I like to consider myself a friendly and fun person, my client’s needs and preferences always come first.
It’s the best when my clients tell me ideas of what they would like me to capture. By using my own style to make it unique.
I strive to be the best I can be and never leave a client unsatisfied. Most importantly I ensure that I get a smile from all the family and make sure you have all have the best time.
